Advising tips:

Advising Season: Advising starts mid-semester each semester (mid-October and mid-March). You should make an appointment to meet with your advisor as soon as possible so you know what classes you need, and can register as soon as your registration window opens.

How to register: All students must register for their classes themselves at Buffalo State. Instructions on how to do so are here: https://buffalostate.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/2003/Portal/KB/Article/169437/Self-Service-Banner-Student-Guide#reg

Advising PINs: Most students need an advising PIN in order to register for their classes. Advisor PINs are only available from your academic advisor. The PIN system exists to make sure you talk to your advisor before you register for classes to ensure that you register for the best classes so you graduate sooner.

Class lists: So, The Predicatorator showed you which classes you should take next, but you don’t know which specific sections of those classes you should take. You can find their listings here: You can find a link to current courses and other pertinent registration links (such as your registration window on the Registrar’s website.
