
BIFF is seeking 2026 Programming, Marketing, and Production Interns to help us to create an engaging and exciting festival. Production Interns must be based in Western New York. Programming and Marketing Interns may be based in Western New York or in other areas, provided that they have access to high-speed internet, as the bulk of the work and meetings will be conducted remotely. Interns are expected to work approximately five-eight hours a week for six-ten weeks on projects, as assigned.
Internships can be customized to accommodate any credit hour requirement, or pursued solely for professional development and personal enrichment without receiving credit.
BIFF Interns have an opportunity to interact with festival guests and industry contacts including filmmakers, producers, sales agents, and distributors – and will receive a complimentary all-access pass to attend festival events October 8–15, 2026.
